Hovering words (and clicking anything) in Netflix is not possible

Hi, I’m having an issue with LR since today.

It works for 0.1 second whenever I reload the page and then it disappears, however,
before, I was able to always hover over the word and see the translation of each word, it still works on YouTube but it doesn’t on Netflix. I can see the subtitles normally, although on Netflix, I am not able to hover over the word anymore nor click on anything else (for example the Settings button). I can only play and pause when I click on anything. I tried troubleshooting deleting LR and re-installing. I made sure “Show mini dictionary” is toggled on. I tried deleting Netflix cache and cookies, it still doesn’t work. I live in Japan but I tried with Japanese, Korean and even English translation it works with neither so I don’t think the problem is tied to a specific language, as it works fine for YouTube with any language.

Hi @hailyn! Thanks for the detailed report.
Possibly the issue is that Netflix has changed something in the structure/behavior of its player, causing LR’s interactive elements to stop receiving clicks, they seem to be “covered” by the Netflix player.
Could you tell me which Netflix’s version you’re using? I haven’t been able to reproduce the issue on my end, so it might be related to a recent update that I don’t have yet.

Another possible cause is a conflict with other extensions. Could you try using an incognito window with all other extensions disabled, keeping only LR enabled, and let me know if that changes anything?

Disabling all my other extensions fixed it for me! Thank you!
