PDF exported to HTML import into LR?

I tried to convert a PDF file to html, load it into chrome, and import it into LR using a right click.

It failed.

  • Are there size limits I might have exceeded? Is there an easy workaround to limit the amount of text?

  • The HTML page contains 3 images. Do I have to remove them?

I just tried it too, and it seems that it’s indeed that it doesnt work when trying to import from local html file. We will investigate on it !

turns out there is a setting to allow file url s that is off by default.
Once I turned it on, it worked!
