I have a pretty simple request – allow me to get rid of the “auto-detect subtitle offset” thing for local media file playback.
You know how it says “+0.5 seconds, -0.5 seconds” for the subtitle offset (when you select a subtitle file)? Please allow more granular control of the subtitle offset, such as allowing me to disable the automatic offset (it forces you to use this), and also letting me get it down to 0.1 second or 0.05 second shifts.
At the very least let me disable the automatic offset because there have been many times where it will set it to +0.7 seconds (which is wrong) and then I subtract 0.5 seconds and get it to +0.2 (which is slightly off) or -0.3 which is also slightly off. It’s very frustrating.
