Hello everyone, I wanted to ask the community about the experiences with Media File player and ASR on Language Reactor.
From reading through the forum posts, there seems to be a recurring issue with ASR related bugs. The main focus is not in this area which is why we see problems with it.
What sort of features would you say are missing to improve the media file player experience. I’d love to hear what others users think
The last time I had an issue with the built in ASR I decided to switch to something else. I still use language reactor to watch stuff, it’s just the subtitle generation part which I use a third party service. I use whisper x on google colab (tutorials on youtube) to generate subs. The process longer but I get more accurate subtitles as well as it consistently working. All for free 
Ahh nice, that’s pretty handy. I actually made a desktop app called Subsmith that does that as well but integrates with Anki too so you can save cards in one click. Saves me the hassle of bringing multiple apps together
