There’s an issue with the accuracy of ASR pro subtitles – the subtitle phrases don’t match the characters’ dialogue, and this happens across all content when I turn on ASR pro on Netflix
Is it okay now?

  • German dub of the Ukrainian system

ASR per phrase does not use non-existent words that aren’t there at the moment but can replace them with synonyms and similar words, and sometimes the meaning is preserved

In fact, situations like this can sometimes occur with speech recognition in general - that is, the system may add a word or phrase that sounds natural in context but wasn’t actually spoken, especially in the case of more expressive or emotional remarks. This limitation is related to how ASR currently works.
