I’m trying to add pinyin to my Youtube video. I’ve seen that Youtube’s translation affects being able to do this. Will the subtitles have to be in Chinese for the pinyin to work? Included is a screenshot of what I have as settings for both my Youtube and Language Reactor.

Hello @peri_winkle , thank you for your question. Yes, in order for pinyin to appear, it’s important that YouTube videos have Chinese subtitles. Your settings are correct, so pinyin will appear in videos where YouTube provides Chinese subtitles.
Pinyin is displayed only for the original subtitles. For translated subtitles, it is not displayed.
