Hi, your app is almost perfect, thanks for it… There are some truly important suggestions on how to make it super great:
- Try not to increase subscription price (it’s your really strong advantage compared to the competitors). Hahaha.
- Add the source column in the list of the added words. It’s important for importing to Anki, so a user can learn all the words from some particular source, then get back and rewatch/reread the material.
- Try to add an ability to save not only words and full sentences but also phrases: like phrasal verbs or idioms etc. It’s gonna be very useful
- Add an ability to add pdf and epub books to read
- If you wanna be Batmen in the world of sentence mining, add the ability to create advanced templates, so when we save a word, we make a table with the columns:
- The word/phrase which we saved
- AI explanation of the saved word/phrase
- Translation of the saved word/phrase (according to the context meaning we got from AI) to the user’s mother tongue
- Translation of AI explanation to the user’s mother tongue
- Part of speech of the saved word/phrase: noun, collocation, phrasal verb, verb etc. (generated by AI)
- Register of the saved word/phrase (formal, informal, neutral etc.) generated by AI
- The example witht the saved word/phrase (sentence in which added word was written)
- Translation of the example to the user’s mother tongue (AI generated)
Point #5 is very cool, because it’s in fact an advanced Anki template where the learner will understand the word or a phrase as good as possible.
