Essentially, the actors say one thing, but the subtitles show a similar sentence yet swap in the wrong word—for instance, using “toilet” instead of “wardrobe.” That’s just an example; in reality, the subtitles are incorrect roughly every other sentence, if not every single one. It has been malfunctioning like this for a long time now. Often, the entire sentence is written incorrectly. I’m going to cancel my subscription if this issue isn’t resolved within the next week, as it defeats the whole purpose of the extension, and this problem has been preventing me from learning German via Netflix for over a month.
