The Language Reactor button is missing in YouTube, but it works just fine in Netflix. It seems Chrome just updated, because I also got a message that support for Language Reactor is ending. YouTube worked perfectly for me yesterday, but today the button is missing.
I am connecting from the United States.
I have tried reinstalling the app.
I have tried changing the permissions for YouTube.
I found an article for this exact same issue occurring back in May 2022 due to a Chrome update and you had to make an update to the app in order to get it to work again.

Same here. I use YouTube a lot, so I hope the developers can help fix the problem quickly.

Same problem here. They need to fix this as soon as possible. 
Today I also noticed that the Language Reactor icon dissapeared from YouTube videos. I hope it can be fixed and am looking forward to continue using it. It’s an amazing tool to dive into a new language while enjoying the process.

I don’t know if it only works for me, but I tried using my “personal” YouTube account today to see if that helps with the bug (I have two YouTube accounts: one with videos in my native language and one with only Japanese videos for input). My personal YouTube account has the same email address as my Language Reactor account. This afternoon, the application actually worked on my personal YouTube account, but still didnt work on my input account. I don’t know if it is because the two accounts are linked to each other by email, or due to another factor that I am unaware of. But I thought I would let you know in case it helps anyone with the same bug.

Wow, that did it! I logged out of my google account and Language Reactor popped right up. I don’t have any of my subscriptions, but that is a small price to pay to be able to use this tool to study again. Thanks so much, Meez!

so we need to wait until LR gets an update
same here, LR doesnt show up, i use several accounts in various languages but specifically with my french account, LR doesnt come up, its like i wouldnt have the extension but i do have it installed but when i go to any other account, LR works like normal
you can see LR pinned and the button of LR extention installed on the top right corner

Had same problem, but the fix is what others are saying: Switch to a different youtube account, and then LR and all its functions will show up in the bottom of a youtube video.
With my orignal account, the LR button, etc, do not show up at all

I’m having this issue as well. Hoping there can be a way to fix it because I’d really like to use my main account

It is frustrating that I can no longer use LR on the YouTube account I have specifically dedicated to immersion, but I’m glad there’s a workaround for now. What a strange bug!
A bit randomly, but I figured out another workaround to keep the same account enabled … I installed another extension that mess with youtube : https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ai-subtitles-immersive-tr/mjdbhokoopacimoekfgkcoogikbfgngb?hl=fr, and strangely if I have it activated it, LanguageReactor got loaded after a few seconds once the player is running.
