Media player support for m3u8 file type?

I download some m3u8 file types off non-supported streaming sites. Currently I need to parse these and download/convert into another format using ffmpeg before uploading onto language reactor.

It would be good if I could upload the m3u8 file directly to language reactor. If possible, this kind of feature may open the door to support other streaming sites like iqiyi.

But m3u8 is not a video file, it’s a streaming URL. Language Reactor I assume needs a whole video, with subtitles, to be able to seek and replay - you can’t do it with IPTV. IPTV is just continuos stream
