Options for text inside square brackets

Hi, I noticed that every time I watch YT videos, LR will display all the texts used as YouTube Subtitle Language, including the ones inside square brackets. But when this subtitle file is used as Translation language, which I believe comes from the same human translation file, LR does not display texts inside the square brackets when it comes to human translation option.

This case also happens when I want to export the subtitles and the translations. The whole texts begin and end with square brackets in a time stamp, whether they serve as subtitles or translations, will be removed in the exported file.

This case doesn’t happen if the text inside square brackets comes alongside another subtitle text within the same time stamp.

Ex:
(time stamp) [Laughed] >Erased
(time stamp) Let’s do it together [Laughed] >Displayed

I’ve heard somewhere that it might be erased to improve the experience of the hearing friends because often times, it only provides audio context. But I hope you can make this as an option instead of erasing the whole in-brackets subtitle. I believe this can help the experience of a wider audience and prevent missing more context.
Thank You!

I noticed this for a Netflix show, Fauda Season 2. The human translated subtitles in English have square brackets when they are speaking Arabic, so the translation does not show up with the normal settings (the show is primarily in Hebrew). I manually have to change the subtitle language to English for these parts.

I’ve run into this same issue, especially with shows where the translation is tucked inside brackets (like when a character switches languages). It’s super frustrating when the ‘Human Translation’ just skips those parts entirely! It would be amazing if we could get a toggle in the settings to ‘Show/Hide Bracketed Text’ so we don’t lose that extra context.
