I’m learning Korean. The “words” that LR indicates aren’t words, but are combinations of words and various affixes. The same word can be used with multiple affixes and has a “dictionary form” that is affix free. When I save words, it saves the word+affix, without giving the dictionary form.
It seems to me that this was all designed for European languages that don’t work this way to the same extent (words in Indo-European languages have many many fewer affixes than words in agglutinative languages).
Thoughts on this? Any fixes planned?
