Can someone help me. My srt file I downloaded from TurboScribe is grayed out and it won’t let me select it. It used to work fine but it doesn’t anymore. Im using an IPhone 11.
I have observed the same thing on my iPad 5 mini. This problem does not occur on my PC (Windows 10).
Best regard, Josef.

So what happened? It used to work fine before the update. I don’t have a Computer. Do you think it’ll comeback working? Is there a way to let them know about the issue?
Hello @Fhhvb_Fhhgu
We have already fixed this, and it will be included in the new release
Thanks! ![]()
When will the new release come out?
The file is still grayed out. I still can’t select it.
@Fhhvb_Fhhgu it’s on the site already! Let me know if something is wrong
I’m still not able to select it.

Please try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache.
And confirm that you are using the following steps to upload the file:
- Upload the video file in the MediaFile block.
- Then select External SRT file in the subtitles block.
- Click the Choose File button to select the desired .srt file.
The .srt file will not be available when uploading a video file.
Only when selecting the External SRT file item in the Subtitles block.
Watch the screen recording here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1naFtsc4kCgUpILXKP65qRSCIYiPJjPZW/view?usp=sharing
It’s still grayed out on external srt file. I do get a message in yellow on media file (video uses HEVC/H.265 encoding which may not play in your browser. Try using Safari or another HEVC-supported browser.) But I always use safari and a screen recording and it used to work fine.
@Fhhvb_Fhhgu and then when you click on the Choose File button you see that all .srt files are grayed out?
Yes.The srt files are grayed out when I click on the choose file button
@Fhhvb_Fhhgu I can’t reproduce this. Could you send a video of all your steps up to the point where the files appear gray to this email address angelina.tester77@gmail.com?
That should help me figure out what might be wrong. Thanks! ![]()
I sent it to your email
