I don’t know how to pass text into LR’s text feature from other desktop apps, for example note-taking apps like Obsidian.
LR’s browser extension appears to tap into a URL scheme to support this functionality from other websites. What is this URL scheme?
I think it could be used to paste text selections from other desktop apps as well. The step where we choose between article vs. full page import could even be skipped. I am pretty sure this could be accomplished with an Apple shortcut. The critical part would be knowing the URL scheme.
