Why is speak word on click not in the target language?

I don’t know how to get the speak word on click feature to speak French (language I’m learning) instead of English (Native language)

I am sure I checked on all the tabs of the documentation that can be found here : Language Reactor.

Hello @Nour_Ali!
Make sure that French is selected in the Study language settings and English in the Translation language settings. (screenshot 1)
Also, to ensure that the word is spoken each time you click on it, the Speak word on click switch must be in the ON position.(screenshot 2)
If you are using an extension, you need to set up Study language and Translation language in the extension settings (screenshot 3).
