Beginner learner: How do you toggle Language Reactor to just show one or two words (main noun/verb) of a sentence?

“Umh, why would you not want the whole sentence? Why even have the option to decrease the amount of information you’re seeing?”

Because it makes it easier for me to learn just one word at a time per sentence. Easier for a beginner, more relaxing when watching videos to just see one or two new words at a time.

Ex: while watching a video in English, I turn on subtitles to translate from English to Language X (the one I’m learning). And then instead of seeing the whole sentence in language X and being overwhelmed as a beginner, just seeing one or two main words (in English, in language X, and the pronunciation/Romanization/pinyin etc for the word in language X)

No, LR doesn’t have this feature. Instead, it has an even better one that suggests words to learn based on frequency.

Not to be rude, but simply showing one or two isolated words without the full sentence context isn’t effective. Getting accustomed to seeing all the information together will help your brain naturally start recognizing the most common words.

I’m not sure where you are on your language learning journey, but it’s a monumental task. If I could give you one piece of key advice, it’s this: always learn in context.
