The Chinese addition also has trouble finding the appropriate reading for characters with multiple readings. Ex. The voice for phrase pump read the correct 睡觉 shuìjiào for “to sleep,” but the phonetic writing wrote the incorrect “shuìjué.” (Jué is a correct reading for this character, but not in this context.) In this context, the two characters were separated for grammatical purposes but this is a common mistake in tech translations/transliterations that can be very misleading. There are quite a few characters with multiple readings in Chinese and I worry that it may be systematic.
