Having an option to export the generated subtitles so that we can use them later on or in a regular video player would be nice.
Among the advantages; Less load on the LR servers since we can reuse the same subtitle file multiple times without having to redo the ASR process. Less load = less cost.
I have a big 4GB video file which I want to play in LR but it takes a long time to upload the audio file from it and it fails before completing the update.
So I thought I’d extract the audio from the video and compress it so that I could upload it to the LR website and get the subtitle file from there. Thanks
Hello @Kronks, thank you for your feedback! The MediaFile section is still under development, and we plan to improve it further. This feature could indeed make the learning process easier and faster. We’ll discuss it!
