Hi all - please forgive me if I am missing something obvious, I’m new to community sites like this. 3 questions I have are:
- Is Language Reactor being actively developed by the developers?
- Is the tool dead and only the user community posting and helping each other to use an old dead tool?
- I have been paying for an annual subscription and will soon need to pay for another year’s subscription. Would you reinvest a year’s subscription?
The last post from the team in the ‘News from the Team’ section was in August 2023 and then mostly only in 2022.
I see posts from users frustrated with the lack of reply / lack of interest in developing the tool further by the developers.
I really love Language Reactor and would love to see it being developed further and actively supported by the owner team. But if that’s not possible, I’ll have to look into the alternative tools (Trancy, LingoPie, LingQ etc)
Do you share the same doubts as me?
Would love to hear from you the community, and the developer team too (if they’re still around)
Best wishes,
Thomas

Thank you so much for replying. That’s such great news to hear. I really appreciate that you’re all working so hard to update and fix things, that you may, as I have done personally in my own professional work history, forgotten to keep up with my communications to keep my stakeholders updated. My project stakeholders would get frustrated by me and more specifically by the apparent radio silence they felt.
I may be projecting here, but I would encourage you and your team to spend just a little more time in communicating out to the community to let us know that you’re here, working on stuff, and that you continue to be listening and driving forward this amazing tool that is appreciated by so many folks who really want to see you and your team thrive and be successful.
My best wished to you all.
