Netflix language settings not sticking

My subtitle settings aren’t saving on Netflix, they keep reverting to English for both subtitle and translation languages. Can you please please fix it so it retains the setting I’ve last chosen?

For context, I’m an English speaker learning Spanish, watching Spanish language Netflix.
Subtitle language is Spanish.
Translation language is English (Human translation)

It’s really annoying because I have to change it every day and every day I have to work out which languages to select for each all over again.

I’m not 100% sure, but it could be related to similar things mentioned by one of the devs recently:

The code around setting subtitles is a little touchey, you have to ask netflix to change track nicely then wait around until it does change, while other things are going on… anyways.

tldr: will get this sorted out when I have a clear mind to put to the task, hopefully soon.

Forces to original dub

Netflix has it’s own logic for setting audio and subtitle tracks that I don’t fully understand, previously the approach was either force the original, or try not to influence the choice. Seems like netlfix does remember the user’s audio and subtitle choice for a particular show. I took another look, the ‘force original’ option seems to be working as intended actually. I’m including this here in case this helps and until a dev can get back to you or the bug gets fixed, but it seems like Netflix is a bit tricky with LR when it comes to remembering language settings overall.
