Hey,
Since yesterday noticed that the "Show machine translation " doesn’t work and it shows an error saying it failed - “Failed to fetch translations. Wait and try again.”
I’m watching videos on YouTube, link below, Czech to English. Via Chrome.
I just paid for this and this feature is really helpful.
video:
Video Title - PRAKTICKÉ LÉKAŘSTVÍ PRO DĚTI -„Nejraději na své práci mám, že pracuji s dětmi a můžu si pořád hrát.“
Hello @OmerCZ,
I found the video you mentioned, and subtitles are available.
From your screenshot, I can see that the video isn’t available to you, not the subtitles. If there were an issue with the subtitles, you would see an error message from Language Reactor in the upper-right corner, but the video would still play.
This may be due to your location.
Try opening other videos on YouTube with subtitles. Subtitles from Language Reactor should be available
Hey Thank you for the quick reply!
I can see the video on my end, only when I pasted the link here it showed an error.
Adding a screenshot of what I see with the issue
@OmerCZ,
This error may occur because of an ad that appears before the video and then doesn’t go away. Just close the error message, open the extension settings, select “Translation language,” and make sure the “Show machine translation” toggle is turned on.
Please let me know the result
