to fetch videos from different sites

hie guys , i am using the extension and it is awesome , cant get enough of it . i was wondering that instead of just working with youtube and Netflix , is there a way of somehow this extension basicaly working on different sites which also hosts videos ? like could it fetch vidoes from different webistes and play in its playes ? i am learning german and i have a lot of different sites of german news channels which have videos on them and the videos also have subtitles with them , i was thinking of watching those videos with language reactor
