First of all, I want to sincerely thank you for your outstanding work on the Language Reactor extension. It’s truly an incredible and powerful tool — especially the Lexa AI Assistant Prompts feature, which I find game-changing.
However, I have recently identified a critical issue:
When I customize the Lexa AI Assistant Prompts field, the settings are not saved permanently. After closing and reopening the browser, all changes are lost and the default values return. This creates a frustrating experience as I have to redo the setup every single time.
As someone passionate about cybersecurity and a university student with a deep interest in AI tools and prompt engineering, I consider this a serious usability bug that may harm the user experience and the perception of feature reliability.
My suggestion:
Once the bug is fixed, please consider storing the Lexa AI Assistant Prompts configurations either in local storage or synced with the user account.
Also, I propose a brilliant enhancement: make the Lexa AI Assistant Prompts feature available via right-click on any selected text on any website. That would provide seamless and intuitive access across the web.
