YouTube subtitles disappear too early / before the speaker finishes talking

Hi everyone,

I’ve been experiencing an issue since yesterday or today while using Language Reactor on YouTube.

The subtitles disappear before the speaker finishes talking. Because of this, subtitles are missing for practically half of the video duration.

  • Location: Japan
  • Issue: Subtitles disappear prematurely before the speech ends.

Does anyone know a solution for this, or is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Thank you!

yep having the same exact issue.

I’m having the same issue. I’m in the US, learning Spanish.

Using Brave browser Brave 1.91.172 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chromium: 149.0.7827.115

I’ve uninstalled and re-installed the extension, but that didn’t help.
