Basically what seems to happen for several different youtube videos with LLR on is that the subtitles are far ahead of where the audio is. I’ve attached an image below to show you what I mean:
I’ve tried several different videos on different channels, tried restarting my browser, and turning on and off LLR, all with the same problem. I’m not sure if this issue is local to me or if others are also experiencing this, but I couldn’t find anything similar from searching the forums.
Just to give an update here, I updated my Chrome to the latest version and restarted my computer and the issue seemed to have gone away. Although I did try this initially, it seems it finally did the trick with the latest versions.
I’m having the same issue for subtitle & video language being Japanese.
Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stQkT4eqVTQ consistantly subtitles are wayyy ahead but for some reason here they aren’t? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87Ar-Kr2aVU&t=438s
It almost seems like native Japanese videos seem the most effected which is so odd. I’ve tried restarting, changing settings, reinstalling etc. Since the last few days/maybe a week ago this issue has been appearing
I’ve been experiencing the same problem. Despite updating Chrome and restarting my computer, the issue persists. It seems that the ads YouTube plays at the beginning of videos are causing the subtitles to be delayed by the duration of the ads. When there are no ads, there’s no delay.
Sunny, were you able to resolve this issue? I’m considering subscribing to YouTube Premium to avoid the ads and potentially fix the problem at the same time.
