a friend of me has introduced me to this wonderful website and till now it’s just been amazing to use it to learn.
But i had this idea that when we’re watching a video, a podcast or other things and we click on a word to see the meaning/synonyms for it, also a small picture of that word comes up.
For example if the word i click on is ‘Cinema’, beside the details that comes up, it also shows us a small picture if a generic cinema.
In my opinion that creates a very strong connection between the word and that picture, which helps to send that newly-learned word to long-term memory.
It works perfectly for almost all nouns and verbs, although there can be something that may not be able to explained by a photo, which is ok.
I’ll upload a picture just as an example.
