Ask AI in Word Cards

When watching movies, whenever I come across a word I’m interested in, I click on it and open its card. In the opened window, I can see an AI explanation, but unfortunately, it is not always enough.

It would be very convenient if I could ask the AI a question directly inside the card, so it could answer based on the context right away. For example, I could ask why a certain word was used instead of another one, what the difference is between a word I already know and this one, or ask for additional clarification with reference to the context.

I think this would be a very convenient and useful feature. I’m not sure how difficult it would be to implement technically, but it would be really great. Please consider it.

Hello @Dmytro_Haidash! Thank you for your request!
In fact, you can customize the dictionary however you like. For example, you can add tabs that explain why a particular word was used instead of a synonym, how it differs from its synonyms, and so on. To do this, add the appropriate prompt to Lexa AI Assistant Prompts, such as: “Why this word and not a synonym: Explain why the word was used in this sentence instead of its closest synonyms. Compare their meanings, connotations, tone, level of formality, and naturalness in this context. Explain why is the best choice here, and provide examples of situations where one of the synonyms would be more appropriate. Sentence: ”.
We believe this approach is more flexible, as users can write their own prompts tailored to their needs rather than asking us to add a default prompt.

Thanks!
