I have been using LR for Netflix a lot recently and it has really sped up my production of Anki sentence cards based on real sentences and audio. I wanted to do the same with YouTube, but I was disappointed when I found out that LR doesn’t save the audio from YouTube. This feature would greatly expand the amount of content available. The YouTube aspect of the project is so close to being perfect but without native audio it just produces significantly lower quality cards than with Netflix.

I have the same problem, I think learning a language with the audio from YouTube. It’s so important. Hope fixe the problem as well.

Absolutely agree, I just started using LR for Anki and was able to learn sentences from Netflix much quicker as relistening to the same short audio snippet very easily sticks in the head. With TTS I might as well not have any audio at all.
Really hope they add this feature soon, so I can resubscribe to LR…
