On my edge extensions demonstrating:This extension contains malware.

what can i do with it?
Thanks.

If Microsoft Edge is showing a warning that one of your extensions contains malware, here’s what you should do:

  1. Remove the Extension
Open Edge and click on the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner.
    Go to Extensions.
Find the extension in question and click Remove to uninstall it.
  2. Run a Full Antivirus Scan:
Use your antivirus software to run a full scan of your system to ensure no malware was installed along with the extension.
  3. Clear Cache and Cookies:
Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services
Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear and select Cached images and files as well as Cookies and other site data.
  4. Reinstall Safe Extensions:
Only reinstall extensions from trusted sources, like the official Microsoft Edge Add-ons store or well-known developers.

If you need further help or recommendations for safe extensions, feel free to ask!

@Alala Hi, we don’t have this message. Perhaps you installed the wrong extension, make sure it is this one: https://www.languagereactor.com/
