I see this bug on the Netflix subscription with ads (“Standard-Abo mit Werbung” in Germany).
The extension seems to ignore the running ad so that the subtitles play while the ad is still on. After the ad ends, I usually fix it by switching and then switching back the sound language, after that the subs and video are once again in sync (until the next ad).
