Wanted to create a thread at first, but found this one already exists.
I’m getting this error often as well.
Steps: selecting video file, then external subtitles and press “Play”. Error appears:

for me its happening on netflix, blitzblanke liebe, for korean language data, since a few days now… its very annoying since im paying for this and then half of the month i cant even use it
The same problem happens to me quite often. What I usually do is that I download a video on youtube and then, generate the srt file with an external tool. Most of the time it works but recently has been failing a lot more often. Sometimes I try to generate the translation using the “Generate from audio” feature but still got the same error, so is not the srt file.
