German Separable Verbs

German - proper handling of separable verbs?

I realise this is probably a bit of a niche request, but when studying German it would be wonderful if it was possible to handle “separable verbs” correctly. Briefly, German has certain verbs like “mitmachen”, “aufhören”, or “abholen” where the prefix (“mit”, “auf”, and “ab” respectively) must be moved to the end of the sentence in some situations - mostly if it’s the “primary” verb. This makes it impossible to mark these as “learned”, as I’ll just see two separate words, e.g., in a sentence li…

I am not sure that it would be so easy to implement. This is language-related “feature”. In order to implement it, it is better to analyze whole sentence, IMHO.

I think possible solution can be ability to combine several words in sentence in one word. For example, “Ich bringe diese mit” means “I bring this with me”, but “bringe” “mit” actually is the same word “mitbringen”. So, i can select both words in sentence and write initial word “mitbringen” as parent word. And this word can be used to translate → Conjugation mitbringen | Conjugate verb mitbringen German | Reverso Conjugator

This feature would be great and extremely helpful for German learners. Because those separable prefixes change the meaning of the verb drastically, sometimes to opposite or something completely unexpected. Adding those verbs to vocabulary as whole would be great help. Or at least some feature that would allow to manually add it as single word.
