I love dual language subtitles. They allow me to watch difficult content. But I also tend to rely on them instead of the target language subtitle. I wonder, if the native subtitles were de-emphasized - written in a gray font, or smaller, perhaps the target language subtitles would “pop” more and be seen first?
Is there are a way to de-emphasize native subtitles, without removing them entirely?
