Hi, I can’t watch japanese shows I used to watch a couple months ago dubbed in German, because whenever I choose German audio, it gets into this loop of constantly switching between original Japanese audio and German audio.
This happens with any other language that is not the original, and it keeps switching rapidly, which makes it unwatchable. Why can this be happening?

It happens on literally all dubbed content. I found it on this episode
and it happens anytime I change the audio on anything other than the original. It is unwatchable.
This audio looping glitch happens when the app’s global default settings constantly fight the manual audio selection you make in the video player.
Here is how to fix it immediately:
- Change your global account settings: Go into your main account profile settings (ideally via a web browser, not the TV app) and set your default audio language to German. This stops the app from trying to revert to the Japanese default while you watch.
- Clear the app cache: Go to your device’s system settings, force close the streaming app, and clear its cache. This wipes the corrupted temporary audio data, causing the loop.
- Download the episode: You can download the episode via your subscription through VidiKeep with the German track selected. Watching offline bypasses the live streaming glitch entirely.
