Netflix subtitles and language tracks stuck on “Loading…” in Chrome. Console shows TypeError in pageScript_lln.min.js

Hi,

Language Reactor was working perfectly with Netflix for several days, but today it suddenly stopped loading subtitles and language tracks.

Environment:

  • Browser: Google Chrome
  • Platform: macOS
  • Extension: Language Reactor Chrome extension
  • Region/Country: Bulgaria
  • Netflix subtitles work normally in Firefox without Language Reactor
  • I have an active Pro trial

What happens:

  • Language Reactor opens on Netflix

  • The settings panel shows:

    • Original language: Loading…
    • Netflix audio language: Loading…
    • Netflix subtitle language: Loading…
  • Subtitles do not load inside Language Reactor

  • Netflix itself still works correctly

  • Subtitles are available when I open Netflix in Firefox without Language Reactor

Example Netflix video where this previously worked and now stopped working:
https://www.netflix.com/watch/81720203

Language configuration:

  • Netflix audio: English
  • Netflix subtitles: English
  • Translation language: Russian

What I already tried:

  • Restarted Chrome completely
  • Tried Incognito mode
  • Disabled all other Chrome extensions
  • Cleared ALL Chrome browsing data and cache for all time
  • Reopened Netflix
  • The problem still happens

Console errors:

Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'b')
    at Module.B (pageScript_lln.min.js:8958:171681)
    at Object.redrawUI (pageScript_lln.min.js:8958:172956)

Also seeing:

[LR:MSG] Auth state changed
[LR:MSG] refreshUserData: got result: {status: 'success', licenseStatus: 'TRIAL'}

So the extension seems to authenticate correctly, but then crashes while trying to initialize Netflix subtitles/language tracks.

I am attaching screenshots of:

  • the LR settings panel showing endless “Loading…”
  • Chrome console errors
