Netflix uses its own file format to protect content, so NFV files are intended for use only within the Netflix app and cannot be easily converted to other formats like MP4. Attempting to bypass such restrictions may violate Netflix’s terms of use and copyright laws. As for StreamUlt and other video converters, they typically do not support the conversion of protected content like NFV. If you need to study a language using videos, it’s better to use legal methods, such as downloading content available for offline viewing directly through the Netflix app or finding other sources that provide videos for language learning.

Netflix applies DRM protection to its videos. You cannot download MP4 files from Netflix directly. You can try a screen recorder or a third-party converter. I haven’t used StreamUlt, but I have tried Viwizard Netflix Video Downloader. It works fine on my Mac. You can even use it to download subtitles separately. Perfect for language learning.
After you download videos from Netflix, you will find that those downloaded video is NFV format, which comes with DRM protection.

It’s not possible to download MP4 videos directly in the app. But you can try some third-party tools like keeprix to save as MP4 or MKV files on a computer. I have been using that for several weeks. It works most of the time.
