I have been watching “How to sell drugs online fast” on Netflix, which is filmed in German. I have been using language reactor to watch other German shows, but for some reason for this one, it will NOT let me select the Netflix subtitle language as the original German because it is a “pro feature”. Do I have to pay to see the original subtitles and then the English translation?

I’m not sure what you mean.
Do you have a screenshot of the message/indicator of “pro” that you are getting?
Machine translations are a “pro” feature, but subtitles that are provided by Netflix/a YouTube Video are free.
@joan_LanguageProcess old thread but I have the same issue. This anime I’m watching in Japan comes with japanese subtitles by default w/o LR but suddenly the extension has started treating it as a pro feature

If you turn off the LR switch on the player, you will notice that the ASR function is unavailable. It is only available when using the extension
