PhrasePump is amazing but lacks native audio

Finding out about and practicing with PhrasePump has been amazing. Unfortunately, the more I use it, the more I realise it is not useable in it’s current state.

The problem is TTS. Take French for example, where “y” often gets “spelled”. Sentences are sometimes incomprehensible as “liaisons” are a mess. Emphases are rarely correct.

This problem could be solved by using native audio. Either by using a service or asking users to record audio in their native language in trade for using PhrasePump.

I think PhrasePump has a lot of potential as it is unique and there are (afaik) no services like this out there. Using native audio would bring it to another level. I wouldn’t mind paying for it, if needed more than the current “pro” pricetag.
