Do you know if there is a way to save phrases by selecting several consecutive words from the subtitles or can only full lines be marked as favorites?
Is there a way to study the words or phrases saved with SRS in LR or should I export to Anki?

Hi, you can only save whole phrases (or individual words) in the extension. On the website (https://www.languagereactor.com/), you can now also type in any phrase in the dictionary (top right icon to open it) to translate and save it:
