Show translations of onscreen SMS, letters, signs, etc.

Hi! Sometimes there’s text inside the movie or TV show itself, like a text message, a letter, a sign, etc.

Netflix provides the translation of this text as subtitles in foreign languages, but obviously they don’t show up in native subtitles/captions. Right now, LLN seems to ignore any translations that do not have a parallel in the original language captions, so the only way to be able to read these translations while using the extension is to manually switch the subtitle language.

Maybe a future version can display these translations that do not have a parallel in the original captions?

As above.

For example, Alice in Borderland S01E01 (Japanese) at 5m30.

If I switch main subtitle language to English, Netflix has translations for all the texts.

But if I switch back to Japanese, because there’s no Japanese subtitles during these scenes, the English ones aren’t shown either. (When there are Japanese subtitles, the English ones are shown).
