stuck at "loading subtitles, please wait"

This morning, none of the a,s,d controls are working, and the subtitles aren’t loading, instead stuck at the “loading subtitles, please wait” message. I tried clearing my browser cache and get the same thing.

I tried a brand new chrome profile, installed the plugin and logged into netflix and get the exact same thing.

I came back to the tab after 10ish minutes and noticed the subtitles had finally loaded and the controls were working again. The same thing had happened in the new profile. It seems it’s having trouble loading subtitles, but does eventually. Is anyone else having a similar issue?
