Hi Language Reactor team,
I’m a long-time user and huge fan of your platform — I rely heavily on the Text mode feature for reading articles (especially from sites like The Guardian) using the “Open in Language Reactor” right-click option.
Recently, something has changed in the system:
- When I right-click an article and choose “Open in Language Reactor,” it now redirects to YouTube mode instead of Text mode.
- Even when I manually enter URLs like this:
bash
CopyEdit
https://www.languagereactor.com/text?url=https://www.theguardian.com/...
…it still redirects me to the YouTube tab.
I’ve tried everything — clearing cookies, reinstalling the extension, using incognito mode, and even creating custom bookmarklets and HTML tools. No matter what I do, Language Reactor is not respecting the /text?url=
pathway.
This feature is critical to my daily study workflow. Has there been a change in how article loading is handled? If so, is there a way to force or restore access to Text Mode via external URLs?
Thank you so much for all your work — I’d really appreciate any guidance or a fix.
