Chinese News Youtube Channel with Mandarin subs?

I’m looking for a Chinese news channel that has mandarin subtitles that LR can use. I haven’t found any but I did find one from Taiwan:

I’d like to get a variety of perspectives but so far, just have to deal with lack of subtitles that I can explore with LR. Like this channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCahKjkez9olNwcpc5pZwzvg/videos?view=0&sort=p

For any users interested in a way to search for some (not all) subtitles in specific languages, there is a site that is working on indexing YouTube for this purpose: filmot.com

You can search for videos with manual and auto-generated subtitles in specific/multiple languages and within your favorite channel, if Filmot has indexed them.

They have a Patreon if you want to prioritize your favorite channels for indexing, too.

This may help until LR the LR team can implement something to help us find more specified subtitles for our target languages

Hi @Daniel_M1, I found this old reply that I thought might help until LR can fulfill this request in the future (fingers crossed crossed_fingers): Here is the direct link to the searcher: Search manual subtitles by metadata Preview of the site: [Caption Language Search for Youtube Videos filmot.com] It’s not comprehensive (as FlyHigh mentioned in their reply), but I have already found it helpful for finding subs in my TL and Native language! slightly_smiling_face

P.S. I checked Filmot today, and it got a bit of a revamp + I found more channels I wanted than when I first posted about them!

This is pretty helpful. Not a whole lot of variety in the Mandarin, and I couldn’t find out how to sort by date, but still better than I was before!
