Developers: Could We Get a Status Report?

Could the developers please provide us with an update on the status of this project?

We would really appreciate knowing its current state, which features are being worked on, what is causing the bugs, whether they will be fixed (and when), and if there are any plans to abandon the project or not. This is the least we can expect given that we are contributing financially. Thank you.

We have no plans to shut down the project and are working on improving it: fixing bugs and adding new features. Recent updates include an updated MediaFile section.

Recently this error started appearing only at night, every night, after around 11PM. I’m in Europe, Italy. During the day I have no problems with the extention. Hopefully it can help fix the issue.

This issue affects everyone and has been going on for about a month now. It seems like the developers are ignoring the problem entirely. There are probably around 20 different forum threads about this, but no response from the developers. I’ve noticed it works better during the day than in the evening here in Europe. Developers, is this something you intend to fix or are you simply choosing to ignore it?

Same here. It’s down for any language except English. I think for maybe a week or more. Please Help! Anyone.

There are probably 20 threads about the same problem but no answers from any developer if it is going to get fixed or not. Is this something you want to solve or will it be like this forever? If you intend to solve it do you have an estimate for when it can be fixed?

I actually agree. I tested out FluentAI a few months ago and it really wasn’t ready at the time, but I’ve been playing around with it and I subscribed so I could use all the features and I’ve got to say, I’m impressed.

It supports Prime, Disney, Netflix and Youtube - all the big ones.

Popup dictonary is sleek and compact but can expand to show a ton of info.

They have an epub reader, a local video player and a flashcard system that is simple ( I still prefer LR’s cloze cards to anything out there)

I’m running into some bugs here and there on FluentAI, but nothing I couldn’t work around. I’ve dealt with their support team before and they’re fantastic.

But check this out - dedicated roadmap and feedback hubs. This is top tier support.

I still love LR too, its a simplistic design that doesn’t get in the way. I’m using Migaku mainly right now and there are so many obsticals. Having to load the dictonary, updating word status is frustatingly circular…so so much I don’t like.

I’m still going to use LR, but the fact that I can only use it with Netflix and Youtube has be the main reason I’m using other tools.
