How to change voice in TEXT/Reading mode

Hi, pretty straight forward question. I saw it asked before but no one responded. I thought id ask again because id like to change the voice as well.

Hi @Mariah_B,

LR text mode uses your browsers voice options that are available on whatever browser you’re using:

• Chrome
• Microsoft Edge

Ok so text mode uses the browsers built-in TTS function for audio. You can see what languages/voices your browser supports here: Web Speech Synthesis Demo (codepen.io) fyi, MS edge has nicer voices than Chrome.

for ‘text mode’ we fall back to browser TTS which is… not nice in Chrome, much better in MS Edge browser.

And there is currently no way to change the voice aside from using the other browser and seeing if you like the voice better there.

P.S. I tried Microsoft Edge voice myself and compared it to Chrome, and it does sound more natural in Edge for Text/Reading mode.
