Hi,
Is it just me, or does Language Reactor not export the saved words on YouTube? I mark certain words from a transcript to learning mode by right-clicking on them, but they are not saved afterwards. I check the Language Reactor website to see if the words are saved, but there’s nothing there. I’ve tried multiple times.
This issue occurs across all YouTube videos but does not happen on the Language Reactor platform itself. This is frustrating, especially since LR has a limited scope for channels and videos and does not mark watched videos as complete.
I’ve read all the relevant posts and watched videos to figure out what I might be doing wrong. Also, I want to clarify that I do not have ad blockers activated, yet the issue persists.
Thank you.
Hello @Shantal_Jovia
Does the marked word change color when you mark it? Or does it remain white as before?
Make sure you’re logged in. If you see your email in the extension settings, then you are logged in. To open the extensions - click on the gear icon
If you are logged in and the word changes color when marked, but you still do not see it in Saved section, then make sure that the language in Study language is selected, the one you are studying.
Hi @Angelina_Kalinichenk,
Yes, the marked word does change color when I mark it, and the words appear in the saved section of the video, but when I click “view all” on the official website, no words have rolled over
. I cross-checked again, and I am logged in; I do see my email when I open settings, and I checked that German is my study language. Even with all that, my saved words from YouTube aren’t saved. But I still can save words on Netflix and on the LR website.
Hello from The US. If it helps, I have the same issue. I copy and paste the starred Youtube words and phrases into that Language Reactor AI dictionary tab. I then starred the stuff from there. everything seems responsive on the laptop and Android if this helps to get by.

@Shantal_Jovia Please make sure that you see the same email in the settings on the site in the extension settings (screenshots below)
It often happens that logging in to the site is done by default if you have multiple accounts.
Hi @Angelina_Kalinichenk, Unfortunately, I don’t have multiple accounts; the email I use for Language Reactor is the same as the one for YouTube. Thanks for the help, though!
