I’ve marked about 10 works as “marked words”. When I go to the Saved tab I can see them all there, but only 2 have their “translation” column filled out. I have the word, context, source, etc. but no translation. I realized this when trying to export the words as a csv
@tj757 hello!
This can happen if your “Translation language” was set to the same language as your “Study language” at the moment you marked the words as “Mark as Learning”. In that case, the system couldn’t generate a translation because both languages were identical.
To avoid this in the future, make sure your Translation language is set to the language you want translations in.
my translation language is set to english, and my study language to chinese (simplified). I just checked again and tried adding another word, and still see a blank translation. Please try and replicate this on your end
@tj757 yeah, caught it. Sent it to the developers. Thanks!
Any timeline when this will be fixed? Until it is, LanguageReact isn’t a very useful tool for me since I can’t properly save any of the vocabulary
@Angelina_Kalinichenk Any idea when this will be fixed? I’d love to use this feature but it just doesn’t work right now
@tj757 We’re still trying to fix that issue. Sorry for delay
