Problem fetching subtitles on YouTube videos (even with auto-generated captions)

Hello,

I am having a problem with Language Reactor. I recently upgraded to the Pro version, but I still cannot load subtitles on some YouTube videos.

The error message says: “Problem fetching subs. Wait and try again.”

I already tried the following:

  • Activating subtitles (CC) on YouTube
  • Using videos with English (auto-generated) subtitles
  • Refreshing the page
  • Trying different videos
  • Clicking “Try again”

However, the problem continues.

Is this a limitation with auto-generated subtitles, or is there something else I should check?

I can see that the subtitles are working properly in the video you sent. Try disabling all extensions, especially those that block ads. They often interfere with the normal operation of the LR extension.
