What makes this so frustrating is that the extension used to work perfectly.

Recently it gives me this issue. I’ve tried changing the language but it gives the same error (e.g. Language Reactor Error: Failed to retrieve linguistic data: NETWORK_ERROR Lang: en ).

I can see from the forum that countless other users have the same issue. Is the LA team aware?

This issue makes the extension essentially useless to me. I don’t see the point in a Pro subscription if this feature doesn’t work.

Interestingly, if I go into the media tab Language Reactor and watch videos there, the subtitle translations / pop-ups work fine.

I’d most appreciate someone from LA replying with a fix. Thank you.

Hi. I found in another post that if you remove the extension and re-install, it may solve the problem. Well it seems that solved the problem for me, not sure how long it will last. Perhaps this solution could get you through until the issue is solved by LR. I did just purchase the Pro version, so it is a little upsetting but hopefully they will address it soon. It is a great tool!
