I would like to know if it is a known error right now across multiple users or just me that I receive the “Unable to fetch ASR subs NETWORK_ERROR” and when I try to save subs I receive “Network error please check your wifi connection. Unable to save item” when I try to save subtitles.
I am using Netflix in the United States and I tried various shows Hunter X Hunter, Toriko X One Piece collab and other shows. Links to one of them (Toriko X One piece collab episode here
I am told to check my internet connection however according to speedtest.net my internet speeds are my download speeds are 300+ Mbps and upload speeds 20 mbps.
, they are fast and consistent with the internet service I paid for (Optimum) and cannot be the problem.
I receive the same error that the program is unable to fetch ASR subs, and receive the “Network error please check your wifi connection. Unable to save item” Is this a known problem that may be fixed soon? When might we expect for this to be fixed?
I have used Language Reactor since 2021 and have been very happy with the progress thus far, I hope this maybe resolved soon if possible.
I got the same problem too. I guess it was working on monday but after that it ain’t worked anymore , it’s so complicated because i’ve paid for service and it’s been 2 days outta work , i’d like this problem will be solve as soon as possible
I just got the same problem, too. I was watching JJK on Netflix (located in the US) and I thought it was because I didn’t have the “Pro” subscription. Now I paid for it and it’s still not working
yeh buddy it´s really sucks, it seems a global bug affected everybody . we have put our eyes on this and make some pression to solve this problem hurry up.
I think one of their servers have been blown up with amazon servers since both things occurred on the same day and after that there is always a issue with machine translation and fetching subtitles on Netflix from its exclusive library
My ASR subs are mostly working now, but I’m trying to watch Your Lie In April on Netflix (which doesn’t offer native Jp subs for the title) and the subtitles for the first episode are inaccurate, as they don’t start until way into the episode. It seems to work better with episode 2, but I’m wondering what this is about. I’m still getting these errors:
Edit: the subtitles showed up earlier than I thought, but still a little later than the beginning of the speech. The failed services message is still present.
Hello @Dez_Pappas, thank you for you message!
I’ve seen that not all subtitles load when “ASR Japanese” is selected.
I’ll pass this along to the team.
We’re aware of the error displayed on the home page, thank you!
